What To Expect with Kybella
KYBELLA® (deoxycholic acid) injection is the first and only FDA-approved injectable treatment that contours and improves the appearance of submental fullness “double chin”.
Dr. Bibicheff will design a Kybella treatment plan tailored to help you improve your chin profile. During your treatment sessions, the doctor will administer Kybella into the fat under your chin using multiple injections. Many patients experience visible results in 2 to 4 Kybella treatment sessions. Up to 6 Kybella treatment sessions may be administered spaced no less than one month apart.
What is the Downtime of Kybella Injections?
Kybella injections should generally be administered knowing that the bruising and/or redness, as well as, swelling may be present for approximately 2 weeks to 1 month. Patients may also experience localized numbness which is a normal and expected reaction which will gradually disappear.
