How is a New York
Laser Liposuction treatment performed?
Before your New York Laser Liposuction treatment, you will have a consultation
with one of Vita MedSpa’s highly-trained
medical doctors.The doctor will determine
whether you are a good candidate for the
New York Laser Liposuction procedure based
on your current health conditions and medical
history, and if so, will explain your anticipated
results from the New York Laser Liposuction
procedure. On the day of your New York Laser
Liposuction procedure, your physician will
mark the incision area, and ensure that
a local anesthetic is applied to the incision
area. Your physician will then make the
necessary incisions and insert a “cannula,”
which is a small tube, through the incision
areas. The cannula will fire the New
York Laser Liposuction laser at the targeted
areas, causing your unwanted fat to simply
melt away. The melted fat will be removed
through a suction device or through your
body’s natural elimination systems.
Who is a good candidate
for New York Laser Liposuction?
Good candidates for New York Laser Liposuction
are typically reasonably healthy men and
women who have localized areas of fat that
have not responded well to diet and exercise.

to have realistic expectations and to carefully
follow their pre- and post-operative instructions
to obtain optimal results. Yet, please be

is not intended to cure obesity and is usually

What may be expected during recovery from the New York
Laser Liposuction Treatment?
It is common for patients to experience
slight bruising, swelling and/or discomfort
after a New York Laser Liposuction treatment.
To reduce potential side-effects, some patients
may need to wear a compression dressing
for a few days after undergoing the New
York Laser Liposuction treatment. Due to
the minimally invasive nature of New York
Laser Liposuction procedures, patients can
usually return to work one day after the
procedure. Vita MedSpa usually recommend
that patients refrain from strenuous activity
for up to two weeks after undergoing the
New York Laser Liposuction procedure. Compared
to other forms of liposuction, New York
Laser Liposuction procedures are moderately
short and painless.
What risks may be
associated with New York Laser Liposuction?
After a New York Laser Liposuction treatment
you may experience an infection, pain, bruising,
and/or swelling at the areas of incision.
In rare cases, patients have experienced
irregular body contouring or skin pigmentation.
To greatly reduce such risks, it is crucial
