about Long Island Laser Liposuction Slimlipo
What is Long Island Laser Liposuction?
Melting fat away has never been easier
than with Long
Island Laser Liposuction, performed
by highly skilled and world-trained Vita
Medical Spa’s physicians. Because we care
about our patients, at Vita MedSpa, we only
perform Long
Island Laser Liposuction because
it achieves results similar to traditional
liposuction procedures, but is less invasive
given that it is performed with a laser
and eliminates fat with much less discomfort,
bruising and recovery time. Incisions made
during the Long Island Laser Liposuction procedure are considerably smaller when compared
to traditional liposuction procedures. The
word “Slim” in Long Island Laser Liposuction stands for “selective laser induced melting.”
Moreover, Long
Island Laser Liposuction procedures
are more efficient than other laser treatments
because they involve the use of a machine
that utilizes a wavelength of 920.
At VitaMedSpa
we are here specifically to serve for our
patients. As a Vita MedSpa patient, you
can feel safe and confident about Long
Island Laser Liposuctionas well as
the result because your Long
Island Laser Liposuction will be
performed by highly skilled and well-trained
Board certified physician Dr. Karina Bibicheff,
M.D. who obtained extensive and world class
medical training in the United States, Canada
and Europe.

Island
Laser Liposuction Appointment
How is a Long Island
Laser Liposuction treatment performed?
Prior
to your Long Island Laser Liposuction treatment,
you will have a consultation with one of
Vita MedSpa’s highly-trained physicians,
who will determine whether you are a good
candidate for the procedure based on your
medical history and current health, and
if so, what results you can expect after
undergoing the procedure. On the day of
your Long Island Laser Liposuction procedure
a Vita MedSpa’s physician will mark the
area of incision and a local anesthetic
will be applied to that area. Then, a physician
will make the necessary incisions, into
which a small tube called a “cannula” will
be inserted. The cannula fires the
Long Island Laser Liposuction laser at the
targeted area, and the melted fat will either
be eliminated through a suction device,
or through the body’s natural elimination
systems.
Who is a candidate
for Long Island Laser Liposuction?
Good candidates for Long Island Laser Liposuction
include reasonably healthy men and women
who have localized areas of fat that have
not responded well to diet and exercise. Vita
MedSpa encourages its patients to have realistic
expectations and to be ready to carefully
follow pre- and post-operative instructions
in order to obtain best results. Please
be advised that Long Island Laser Liposuction
is not intended to cure obesity, and is
usually used on people of average weight.
What may be expected during recovery after undergoing
Long Island Laser Liposuction Treatment?
It is typical for patients to experience
bruising, swelling and slight discomfort
following a Long Island Laser Liposuction
treatment. While recovering after
the Long Island Laser Liposuction treatment,
patients may need to wear a compression
dressing for a few days to reduce the side
effects. Because Long Island Laser Liposuction
is minimally invasive, patients can usually
return to work the day after the procedure.
However, Vita MedSpa’s physicians usually
recommend that patients refrain from strenuous
activity for one week or two weeks after
the Long Island Laser Liposuction procedure.
Overall, recovery from the Long Island Laser
Liposuction is moderately short and painless.
What risks may be
associated with Long Island Laser Liposuction?
Possible risks after a Long Island Laser
Liposuction treatment include infection,
pain, bruising, and swelling at the incision
locations. In rare cases, patient
experiences irregular body contouring or
skin pigmentation following the procedure.
Finding a physician who has experience performing
Long Island Laser Liposuction, such as the
highly skilled and world trained physicians
at Vita Medical Spa, and following their
pre- and post-operative instructions carefully
may greatly reduce such risks.
How much does Long
Island Laser Liposuction cost?
Long Island Laser Liposuction treatment
costs vary depending on the size of the
operation area and the amount of fat to
be removed. Because at Vita MedSpa we believe
everyone deserves to be beautiful, we charge
a reasonable fee of between $4000 and $6000
per area for Long Island Laser Liposuction
procedure depending on the patient’s specific
needs. Additionally, while insurance usually
does not offer coverage for Long Island
Laser Liposuction procedures because they
are deemed cosmetic, at VitaMedSpa, we offer
affordable financing options.
